Abstract

A composition comprises a blend consisting of 80 to 99% of a polymer of ethylene of molecular weight greater than 30,000 and from 20 to 1% of a thermoplastic aromatic polycarbonate, e.g. the product derived from carbonic acid and 2,2-di-p-hydroxyphenyl propane. The ethylene polymer may be a homopolymer or may be a copolymer with propylene, butene, styrene, vinyl acetate or ethyl acrylate. Optional ingredients specified include carbon black and 4,41 - thiobis - (3 - Me - 6tBu - phenol). Specification 772,627 is referred to.
