981,072. Clamp fasteners; stud and socket fastenings. A. RAYMOND. April 27, 1962 [May 2, 1961], No. 16246/62. Heading E2B. [Also in Divisions F2 and H2] In a fastener for holding a member to a support of the type in which a rod 10 is fixed to a resilient base-plate 13 and a resilient clamp 12 is movable over the rod towards the base the clamp being made of a sheet material and having teeth 14, 14a, which grip the rod when the latter is inserted between the teeth the corners of the transverse edges of each tooth are bent up out of the general plane of the tooth. The effect is that when a releasing tool is inserted between the clamp and turned up portion of the teeth as shown in Fig. 3, the rod is relieved of the grip of the teeth and allows removal of the clamp from the rod.
