980,792. Ignition generators. ROBERT BOSCH G.m.b.H. March 14, 1961 [April 16, 1960], No. 9273/61. Heading H2A. An ignition magneto whose ignition armature primary winding 10 is connected in circuit with current-consuming appliance 16 such as a lamp, horn or accumulator battery, does so through a rectifier 17, e.g. silicon diode which blocks current flowing to the appliance at the instant of ignition. The rectifier is mounted either in the horn, Fig. 3 (not shown), or on the armature plate of a flywheel magneto, Fig. 2 (not shown).
