985,349. Vehicle wheels. GEO. H. HUGHES Ltd. Feb. 7, 1964 [Feb. 14, 1963], No. 5938/63. Heading B7C. A vehicle wheel comprises a hub shell 2 and a pair of nylon bushes 7, one at each axial end of the shell, the bushes having radial projections 9 seated in the shell and constituting bearings between the shell and an axle. A pair of annular hub flanges 3 which mount the wheel spokes are provided with central recesses 6 so that each flange may be push fitted into an end of the hub shell. Each bush 7 is then located in a recess 6.
