Abstract

950,052. Saggers. UPSALA-EKEBY A.B. Jan. 1, 1963 [Dec. 17, 1962], No. 112/63. Heading F4B. A stand for supporting and transporting ceramic articles for firing comprises two side posts and at least one rear post, all interconnected by upper and lower cross-pieces and provided with projections regularly spaced above each other for receiving the inserted ceramic articles, wherein the cross-pieces are U- shaped bails which in their undersides and their upper sides have recesses for receiving the ends of the posts, allowing the assembly of one set of posts upon another. Posts 1 have projections 5 and wedge-shaped ends 3 which fit into corresponding recesses 4 in the bails 2 which also have projections 5<SP>1</SP>. The side arms have extensions to protect the ceramic articles. The parts may be cemented together.
