949,139. Dispensing closures. KORRISS PRODUCTS Inc. May 14, 1962, No. 18495/62. Heading B8T. A plastics lid or closure 12 for a dispensing container has a pivoted spout in which quadrantal side pieces 23 are partially closed by a part cylindrical surface 27, the spout being integrally hinged to the closure at 19. A depression 22 facilitates opening by insertion of a finger nail. The spout is biased to the open position shown, and is maintained closed by engagement of notch 25 with the wall of the closure. The open position is limited by a stop 29.
