[Also in Groups XXXV and XL (b)] In a compressed air bearing for a rotary bucket wheel 30, air enters through a channel 15 and passes via radial ducts 16 to the interconnected annular passages 17, 19. From these passages it flows through radial or annular ducts 20, 21 to pass between the hub 22 and the bearing roller 10 and escape through ducts 27, 28 and between hub 22 and the shafts 13, 14.
