Abstract

922,566. Upholstery panels. ROLLS-ROYCE Ltd. Dec. 14, 1961 [Dec. 22, 1960], No. 44151/60. Class 52 (4). An upholstery panel has a plywood backing sheet 1 with a groove 2 in its face parallel to the corresponding outer edges of the sheet, padding material 4 such as rayon acetate wadding or polyurethane foam sheet and a facing sheet 3 of leather secured within the groove by staples 5 and at its edges 3a by adhesive. An ornamental piping 6 with hard core 7 and leather 8 is inserted in the groove 2.
