Class 79(3) A motor vehicle exhaust pipe mounting comprise a U-shaped member 14 having one end 16 of arcuate cross-section clamped to the exhaust pipe 10 by a strap clamp 20 and the other end 18 of circular cross-section freely mounted in an oversize bore 38 extending longitudinally of the vehicle in a rubber pad 32 bolted to the vehicle frame or body.
