Abstract
885,152. Cooling cylinders and fuel injection pumps. LINDE'S EISMACHINEN A.G. GES. FUR, [trading as ZWEIGNIEDERLASSUNG GULDNER-MOTOREN-WERKE, ASCHAFFENBURG]. Oct. 2, 1959 [Oct. 2, 1958], No. 33528/59. Classes 7(2) and 7(3). A cased flywheel fan 3 delivers cooling air to three in-line cylinders 17 through a cover 4 enclosing the injector supply pipes 8 of a fuel-injection pump 7 located in a compartment 12 from which the fan draws its air via a partannular opening 10 and which has an entry 13 coveredby a mesh or grid. A resilient seal 18 is provided. The wall 11 may be cast with or secured to the crankcase 1. An axial blower may replace the flywheel fan 3.
