Abstract

884,479. Bearings. CARR FASTENER CO. Ltd. Dec. 14, 1959 [Jan. 2, 1959], No. 259/59. Class 12 (1). [Also in Group XXV] A device for resiliently supporting a rod comprises an open head portion 6 for receiving the rod and two or more integral legs 2, 3 all being made of a resilient synthetic plastic material or rubber. The rod may be used in operating a car door and is snapped into the head 6 in which it can slide freely. In a modification, the legs are displaced through 90 degrees as shown in Fig. 4.
