873,861. Windscreen wipers. TRICOFOLBERTH Ltd. May 23, 1960 [April 10, 1959], No. 12239/59. Class 138(1). A wiper for curved windscreens has, at each end of its blade, a cross bar fitted with members, such as hard rubber rollers 24 or polythene sliding shoes, which engage the windscreen 18, to prevent excessive rocking of the blade. The cross bars may be continuous or in the form of two arms 20, 22 and may be fitted to the backing strip 4 of the blade or, as shown, to a harness 6.
