Abstract

861,713. Switch bases. BUSCH-JAEGER DUERENER METALLWERKE A.G. April 13, 1959 [May 13, 1958], No. 12354/59. Class 38 (5). [Also in Groups XXV and XXXVI] A switch or socket 1 arranged to be mounted on a sling 3 in a cable box has a recess 1a adapted to receive the sling, which is engaged by a resilient clip 2 anchored in the recess only by its shape and resilience. The clip may engage the sling by both ends, as shown, or by one end only (Figs. 2, 2a, not shown), the sling then engaging in a notch at one side of the recess 1a. In a modification, Figs. 5, 6 and 9, the clip 6 is U-shaped and received in grooves 5b in the base, which has a slot 5c arranged to receive an upstanding lug 7a of the sling. The lug has bevelled edges which co-operate with the limbs of the clip to hold the sling in the recess 5a. Several switches may be mounted side-by-side on a common sling.
