Abstract

867,253. Electric heating. MARTOUDIS, S. G., and VASSILOPOULOS, A. G. Jan. 13, 1959, No. 1163/59. Class 39(3). Heating apparatus comprises a heat source, means for directing heat away from said heat source and means for automatically moving said directing means about two axes inclined to one another. As shown, an electric heating element 10 and a reflector 11 are mounted on a stand 12 having an electric motor 13 which is geared to move the element and reflector progressively around, or from side to side, and up and down simultaneously. In another embodiment (Fig. 2, not shown) the electric motor drives a fan mounted to the rear of the heater element.
