Abstract
The invention comprises dyestuffs of the formula: <FORM:0853364/IV (c)/1> where A is a tetrazaporphin radical, E is an aromatic radical of up to two benzene nuclei, R is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, m is a number from 1 to 8, n is 0 to 4 and Z is a vinyl radical, substituted if desired, and a process for making them by reacting compounds of the formula: <FORM:0853364/IV (c)/2> with acylating agents which yield the acyl radical of an acrylic acid, substituted if desired. The dyestuffs dye and print wool, linear polyamides such as polycaprolactam and natural or regenerated cellulose such as cotton and staple fibre blue and green shades. Specification 827,569 is referred to.
