Abstract

853,246. Stoppers. PATON, CALVERT & CO. Ltd. Oct. 22, 1958 [Nov. 2, 1957], No. 34260/57. Class 125(3). A plug stopper 11 has a flange 13 to facilitate removal of the stopper, the flange being held away from the surface 21 of the container by a projection 14. The closure together with the flange and projection may be moulded from a synthetic resin or may be formed by pressing from sheet material in which case the projection is joggled or embossed.
