Abstract

852,522. Container closures. ZAUNER, W. Sept. 9, 1958 [Sept. 16, 1957; Aug. 21, 1958], No. 28946/58. Class 125(3). In a self-closing closure arrangement for squeezable containers the container is formed with two inwardly bulged portions 21, 22 which act as a spring to urge a valve member 28 against a seating 29 on the outlet opening of the container. In a modification Fig. 2, the closing cap is omitted and the valve 28 seals against the resilient mouth 42, the valve stem 34 having abutments 35, 36 to engage either side of an opening 33 the web 30 formed by inwardly bulged portions 31, 32.
