Abstract

824,383. Cartons; packages. BOXFOLDIA Ltd. Jan. 2, 1958 [Jan. 4, 1957], No. 379/57. Classes 18 and 94(1). A carton for cans with axially-directed peripheral flanges at each end is made up from a blank as shown, glue flap 17 being stuck to the corresponding edge of side panel 13. The top and bottom panels 10, 12 are provided at each end with flaps 18 which are bent back to engage the flanges and secure the cans. Alternative embodiments have two and three such flaps at each end, which retain its basic channel form outline.
