815,554. Cable and wire terminals. AMP Inc. Dec. 27, 1956 [Dec. 28, 1955], No. 39294/56. Class 38 (1). In a corrosion-free joint between a cable and a ferrule crimped thereon, a joint-stabilizing material consisting of a mixture of nickel- or zinc-bearing particles and an unsaturated fatty acid is located between the cable and the interior surface of the ferrule. Preferred fatty acids are oleic acid, linoleic acid and linolenic acid.
