Abstract

799,146. Releasable fastenings. FREY GES FUR INDUSTRIELLE FORSCHUNGEN DR. S. July 13, 1955 [July 13, 1954], No. 20304/55. Class 44. A fastener comprises a pair of coupling strips 1, 2 of resilient material having, respectively, a rib 8 and a complementary recess 3 disposed one on each of two opposed longitudinal edges thereof for interlocking engagement with one another, each of the two remaining longitudinal edges of the coupling strips being provided with an inwardly enlarged groove 4, 6 for the reception-of a longitudinal strip 5, 7. The rib 8 and recess 3 are of arrowhead shape. The grooves 4, 6 are of square shape in cross section and each is intended to receive a square section bead on the edge of one of the strips 5, 7. The strips 1, 2 are, intended to be engaged and disengaged by finger pressure.
