Abstract

794,941. Weighing apparatus. SARTORI. M. June 5, 1956 [June 11, 1955; Sept. 5, 1955], No. 17333/56. Class 143 A hydrostatic scale capsule, has a resilient corrugated side wall 12, and is in communication with a transparent manometer tube 17. This tube is contained in a slotted sleeve 19 on which is mounted a graduated slider 21 which allows the scale to be tared for the weight of a container, such as a liquid gas bottle 15, and which, is provided with "full" and "empty" graduations 21, 24. The end of the tube 17 may be open, but as shown, it is closed by a plug 31 provided with a fine breather bore. In a modification (Fig. 4, not shown) the fluid in the tube 17 supports a graduated float which co-operates with an adjustable index slidable on sleeve 19.
