Abstract

783,547. Two-part couplings. FORDHAM PRESSINGS, Ltd. Dec. 15, 1955 [Dec. 16, 1954], No. 36404/54. Class 38 (1). A jack plug switch particularly for electric fencing provides a low and a high-tension circuit through spring contacts 6, 7 and spring contact 9 respectively, the insertion of the plug 3 causing closure of contacts 6, 7 through an insulating member 5. A brass plunger 8 biased by spring contact 9 contacts a groove 10 in the plug and also serves to retain the latter in position.
