789,175. Stencilling-apparatus. WHITEBIRK WEAVING CO., Ltd. and BARNES, J. T. May 16, 1956 [April 6, 1955], No. 10068/55. Class 100(2) In a two-bladed squeegee, the parallel spaced pivoted blades 8, 9 are interlinked at 7; if they are slightly toed in as shown, the leading blade, according to the direction of travel, will always lie clear of the silk screen 12 while the trailing blade prints by forcing the paste &c. 13 through the screen. The carrier 1 on which the blade pivots 3, 4 are mounted has adjustable stop screws 10, 11 engaged by tongues 5A, 6A on the blade-holders. A pair of handles 2 may be provided for manual operation, or the carrier 1 may form part of a power-driven mechanism.
