785,295. Castors. KAYE, E., and SHARP, J. R. Feb. 8, 1955 [Feb. 8, 1954], No. 3685/54. Class 52(1) A castor is carried by a rubber or like bush 31 in shear in a housing 34 secured to the article 11 to be supported. As shown a fixing stub 18 is mounted on a back-plate 16 on a ball race 14 and is keyed to an inner sleeve 25 between which and the housing 34 the bush is bonded. A top flange 35 on the bush under a shrouded compression plate 24 serves as an auxiliary damping means.
