[Also in Group XXXIV] A sheave comprises a fixed member d, e carrying at least three anti-friction bearings a, b, c, and a rim g adapted to engage rope i and supported by said bearings which engage in groove g<SP>1</SP> formed internally in the rim. As shown, the bearings are ball- or roller-type, shaft f being eccentrically mounted for adjustability, the sheave being carried by an oil derrick.
