760,550. Hand trucks. LUPTON, J. Oct. 4, 1955 [Oct. 15, 1954], No. 29760/54. Class 108(1). A hand truck comprises a frame 10 upwardly off-set at its forward end to accommodate wheels 18 rotatable about the pin 14 by means of the detachable propelling handle 24 for steering purposes. At its rear end the frame is supported on castor wheels 34 one of which may be prevented from castoring by a transversely disposed locking pin 40 carried by the U-shaped rod 42 whose other limb is resiliently mounted in a guide tube 44 secured to the frame 10.
