765,219. Switchgear structures. METROPOLITAN-VICKERS ELECTRICAL CO., Ltd. Oct. 20, 1954 [Oct. 28, 1953], No. 29852/53. Class 38(5) In three-phase draw-out switchgear, selective connection between the moving contact 4 of an air-break circuit-breaker and alternative busbar contacts 20, 24 or earthing contact 23, is made by a pivoted isolator arm 18 comprising an insulating bushing 17 carried by a plate 16 which pivots about the hinge 4' of the contact 4. The arms for all the phases may be carried by the same plate or by separate plates. The fixed breaker contact 5 is carried by an isolator arm 9 which co-operates with a contact 12 connected to a cable header 14 through current transformers 15.
