764,361. Mixing-machines. BAUKNECHT GES. ELEKTROTECHNISCHE FABRIKEN, G. Feb. 4, 1955 [Feb. 12, 1954], No. 3389/55. Class 86. [Also in Group VI] A machine suitable for domestic use for forming liquid products by treating liquid or liquid-containing materials, e.g. by mixing liquids, dissolving solids in liquids, or squeezing fruits, comprises a body supporting driving mechanism, and an attachment in the form of a container with internal parts adapted to be operated by the driving mechanism when the attachment is coupled to the body, the attachment having a discharge opening which registers with a discharge spout when the attachment is in position. The Figure shows a machine with a mixer on the left half and a fruit juice separator on the right half of the Figure. The body of the machine supports a motor 1 adapted to drive a shaft 6 of the attachment when the attachment is fitted in a mounting 2. The mounthas a discharge spout 9 which registers with a discharge opening 8 in the container 7 or 7<SP>1</SP>. The neck 4 of the container has a groove 4<SP>1</SP> to receive the end of a lever 10 pivotally mounted on the motor casing 1<SP>1</SP>. The lever has a slot to receive a pin 3<SP>11</SP> on a switch 3, the arrangement being such that the switch is closed in the locking position of the lever 10 and opened when the lever is unlocked. The mixer is provided with cutting, stirring and mixing blades 5 mounted on its shaft 6, and the fruit juice separator has a screening drum 5<SP>1</SP> mounted on its shaft 6.
