734,788. Hydraulic machines. BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION. Oct. 27, 1952 [Oct. 29, 1951], No. 26971/52. Class 69 (2). The distributing control, valve 32 is held one end position by the garter spring 47 entering grooves 49 or 50. Fluid then flows to cylinder 10a until piston 14 reaches the stroke end. Pressure build up then opens relief valve 69 allowing fluid to act on collars 55, 56, overcoming the grip of spring 47 and so centring valve in its neutral position. The full line pressure is prevented from acting on the valve collars by the stepped valve 73 and by the restricted passage 66.
