727,198. Stoppers &c. COW & CO., Ltd., P. B. Feb. 17, 1954 [March 3, 1953], No. 5947/53. Class 125 (3). A closure for hot water bottles and like flexible containers has two apertured members C, D which clamp between them a flange B moulded integrally with the bottle neck, the lower member D having a depending portion E with screw thread F to receive a screwed plug G having a washer J seating on the upper member C. The members C, D are secured together by screws H and washer J is held down by a member K engaged by a lip N on the plug G sealing being provided by a washer O.
