Paint scrapers. - MEADS, H.J., and WEST-MEADS, A. -June 5, 1951 [June 8, 1950], No. 14295/50. , Class 61 A paint scraper adapted to be detacliably mounted on a blow-lamp comprised a thin metal sleeve a which is placed over the blow lamp nozzle b and a scraper blade c secured to the sleeve or formed integrally therewith. As shown an opening for the passage of the flame is formed in the front end of the sleeve by pressing out a part h to serve as a lug to which the blade c is secured by screws i. The sleeve is fixed to the nozzle by straps d secured to the sleeve and attached to any convenient part of the blow lamp. In modification the sleeve is fixed to the nozzle by a clamping screw.
