682,924. Bed-settees. SIMMONS CO. July 5, 1949 [March 2, 1949], No. 9762/51. Divided out of 682,865. Drawings to Specification. Class 52(ii) A bed-settee comprises a supporting frame having a back rest, a pair of bedbottom sections hinged together, means connecting the sections to the frame whereby the first section is movable from an elevated horizontal position forward of the frame and a lowered horizontallyretracted position while the second section is movable from a position co-planar with the first section to an upright position rearwardly of the back rest, a leg pivoted to the first section and a link pivoted to the leg and to the second section to move the leg into and out of operative position during the unfolding and folding of the bed sections. The construction is described with reference to drawings in Specitication 682,865. Specifications 682,865 and 682,925 are referred to.
