Abstract
686,198. Waste fittings for sinks &c. HALL & CO., Ltd., M. Aug. 10, 1951 [Sept. 20, 1950], No. 23107/50. Class 26 In an overflow device for controlling the discharge of solids and liquids from a household sink or other receiver, which is adapted to be lifted out when its cover is removed, the hollow stem 1 of the device is cone-shaped and its narrow upper end split and splayed outwards to form handles 3 and 4 separated by slots 12 forming a solid material size-limit gauge, and the lower end is fitted with a valve member 10 to fit into the discharge outlet 11 of the receiver.
