Abstract
670,535. Creels. TATLOCK ENGINEERING CO., Ltd. Aug. 4, 1950 [Aug. 9, 1949], No. 20654/49. Class 142(iv) A creel comprises a rigid frame carrying two side frames arranged back to back and inclined to the vertical, and has screw means for altering the angle of inclination of the frames. A framework 3, having wheels 2, carries brackets 6 supporting rods 7 from which are suspended side frames 8. Links 12 connect the lower edges of the frames to blocks 13 screwed on a rod 16 having right- and left-hand threads. Rotation of a handle 17, provided at each end of the creel, moves the blocks 13 and alters the inclination of the frames 8. The threads pass over rollers 18, 19, which are adjustably mounted in slots, and pass through reeds 25, 26 whose height may be adjusted. Combs 29 are also provided.
