Abstract

677,196. Watches. MONTRES ROLEX SOC. ANON. July 10, 1950 [Aug. 29, 1949], No. 17237/50. Class 139 A universal watch comprises two dials 6, 7, Fig. 1, one, 6, marked with the hours and the other, 7, indicating, in co-operation with the first, the standard zone times, one, 7, of these two dails being rotatable by the movement through a friction device. The rotating dial 7 is prevented from rotating backwards by a detent device so that it is actuated only when hand setting is effected in one direction. The rotary dial 7 is mounted upon a disc 8 which has resilient tongues 8a and is rigid with a driven wheel. The dial 7 has ratchet teeth 14 which co-operated with two spring detent blades and is thereby prevented from rotating counter-clockwise.
