Abstract

A surgical-type pressure-sensitive adhesive contains polybutene, a butadiene-styrene copolymer, factice, hydrogenated glycerol abietate, low molecular weight polybutene, zinc oxide, wax, and a hydrocarbon solvent. An anchor coating used to ensure attachment of the adhesive to a film base of ethenoid polymer contains equal parts of polybutene and a betapinene polymer in a petroleum solvent.
