Abstract
664,847. Closures for collapsable tubes &c. UNIVERSAL METAL PRODUCTS, Ltd., and BIDDULPH, M. Feb. 20, 1950. [March 2, 1949] No. 5685/49. Classes 66 and 125(iii). A nozzle extension d screws on to the end of a collapsable tube, or a jar or bottle, and is integral with a strap f and a cap e which is thus held captive, and which fits on the extension d, which may hold a sealing disc c in place, or the outlet may be sealed by a metal diaphragm which may be perforated to open the tube. Alternatively, the tube may be closed by a screw stopper, and a cap, captive to the neck of the tube may fit both the outer end of the stopper and the outer end of the neck when the stopper has been removed. Specification 649,559 is referred to.
