646,863. Cabinets. CROSA, G., and CROSA, L. April 8, 1948, No. 9885. Convention date, April 29, 1947. [Class 52 (i)] A platform 7 for supporting a machine or other article in a cabinet has dependent arms 9, 10 coupled by parallel links 13, 14 to a fixing plate 16. A lever 34, connected to the lid 5 and to the platform 7, is pivoted to a swinging link 37 and raises and lowers the platform as the lid is opened and closed, an adjustable counterbalancing spring 17 being mounted in a tube connecting the inner ends of the upper parallel links 13.
