Abstract

626,836. Hose pipes &c. BROOKE, H. F., and MEYER, J. Sept. 5, 1947, No. 24512. [Class 99(ii)] A limp, separator-thread 1, which may consist of a string, leather lace, plastic strand, fine plastic tube, or metal wire, extends loosely through a flexible tubular connector 2 and rubber or equivalent soft pliable material, so as to maintain a fluid passage when the tube walls are collapsed, the thread being anchored at one or both ends of the connector. Fig. 3 (not shown) illustrates a tubular thread having tabs at its ends for anchoring purposes. A rubber sleeve 4 may be fitted over the end of the tube 2.
