Abstract
626,346. Portable sheds. DARNELL; J. E. Nov. 21, 1946, No. 34477. [Class 20(i)] A portable shed for domestic use, e.g. for housing a perambulator, has entrance doors in one end wall and above the doors a compartment for temporarily housing tradesmen's wares also fitted with a door in the same end wall of the shed. The shed may be sectional and comprise a base plate 3, side walls 1 the top portions of which are bent inwards to form part of the roof, end wall 5 and roof plate 4, flanges being provided where necessary to bolt the various parts together. A pair of doors 2 are hinged to the free vertical edges of the walls 1 and the compartment above the doors is formed by a U-shaped plate 6 having a horizontal shelf portion 7, front and rear walls 8, 9, the front wall having a cut away opening 11 closed by a door 12, and flanges 10 for bolting to the walls 1.
