[Class 141] An appliance for stretching glove fingers comprises a central fixed member and two outer movable members at each side, the members being shaped at their upper ends to form half-fingers which co-act to formfour fingers, means being provided for opening the half-fingers. As shown, the fixed member 1, slotted at its upper end to form halffingers 6, is supported by a base 4 and has a plate 12 secured by screws 13 to each side. The two pairs of movable members 2, 3 are pivotally mounted, by screws 10, 11 respectively, on the plates 12. The members 2 are divided at their upper ends to form pairs of half-fingers 8 whilst the outer members 3 form single half-fingers 9 to complete the four finger members. The outer members 3 have continuations forming handles 14 provided with contact screws 16 adapted to engage the ends 15 of the members 2. Thus, an inward movement of the handles 14 first causes the half-fingers 9 to move outwardly stretching the two outer fingers, and then operates the members 2 so that the halffingers 8 also move outwardly stretching the two inner fingers, the movement of the pivoted members being limited by abutments 17 on the member 1. Compression springs 18, 19 bring the members 3, 2 'back to their normal position when the handles 14 are released.
