614,278. Ice-cream servers. BENDIXEN, P. N., and JOHANNSEN, F. R. July 10, 1946, No. 20589. Convention date, Oct. 18, 1945. [Class 128] An ice-cream server comprising a hemispherical cup 1 in which moves a scraper 4 attached to a spindle rotatable in the handle 2 under the action of slidable racks connected to finger-pieces 9, has mounted in the handle for operation by the scraper spindle a counter to register the number of portions served. The spindle and counter are connected by a friction clutch which permits the counter to be actuated by the first part of the movement of the spindle and to slip during the remainder of the movement.
