581,214. Vehicle fittings for unloading. CLEMENTS, B. W. May 25, 1944, No. 10182. [Class 78 (iv)] [Also in Group XXXII] In a tipping trailer vehicle in which the chassis is arranged below the wheel axles (see Group XXXII), the body tips automatically when a catch is released by the tractor driver. A bar 21 and chains 22, 23 are placed on the bottom of the body before the load and at the unloading station a ring on the chain 23 is attached to a fixed member such as a stake in the ground and the trailer drawn away whereby the bar 21 pulls the load from the trailer on to the ground.
