Abstract

584,421. Ceilings, roof and wall linings. HAY, H. M. Dec. 22, 1944, No. 25776. [Class 20 (iv)] Boards b for ceilings, roof and wall linings, are supported on metal laths a of " hat" cross section and secured by metal clips c pivotally and permanently attached at longitudinal intervals along the top of the crown of the lath by means, such as rivets d which have slotted heads (Fig. 4), such that the clips may be turned from the channel side of the hat lath. The laths a are secured to purlins e by headed bolts (Fig. 4) which are bent over the flanges of the purlins. Specification 544,389 is referred to.
