569,311. Engine cylinders. SMITH'S JACKING SYSTEMS, Ltd., and SESSIONS, D. W. Oct. 18, 1943, No. 17070. [Class 122 (i)] A bearing ring, for the ram of a hydraulic lifting jack &c., is a push fit in the cylinder and is retained by a spring ring engaging a groove therein. Two bearing rings 16, 18 spaced by a sleeve 17 may be held in engagement with an abutment 15 by a spring ring 22. A packing ring 24 in the cylinder end may be retained by a split spring ring 26.
