Abstract
569,000. Tubes for heat-exchangers. SPANNER, E. F. Sept. 21, 1944, No. 18017. [Class 64 (iii)] In a heat-exchanger tube having two or more spiral grooves impressed in its wall for some portion of its length, the cross-section of each grove is made sharper or steeper on one side of a radial line, drawn, as shown, through the lowest point of the section thereof and the centre of the tube, than it is on the other side of said line.
