532,265. Cleaning belt conveyers. PRICE, H. July 20, 1939, No. 21115. [Class 78 (i)] The belt of a conveyer is cleaned from adherent and ingrained dust on the return run by stretching it between idler rollers 2, 3, 4 and at the same time vibrating this position of it, for example by making the roller 4 eccentric or mounting it eccentrically. The spring - mounting 8 allows the roller to yield when belt - fasteners or like obstructions pass under it. The dust falls into a bag 11.
