[Class 125 (iii)] [Also in Group XXXIII] A closure device for an orifice in the nose of the spinner i of an airscrew or in a petrol or like container, comprises a hollow plug or stopper a which is a push fit in the orifice and is provided with an annular series of rollers e which normally protrude through openings f in the stopper under the influence of a spring d acting along the axis of the device. The rollers may be made of fibre, they may be barrel shaped and they may be carried by a circlip g. The spring d is arranged between the head b' of a central pin b and a spider c having inclined parts which bear against the rollers e.
