[Class 23] [Also in Groups III and XIII] In producing distilled water from sea water or other aqueous liquids, liquid particles are removed from the steam by passing the latter through a series of rapidly rotating conical annular discs i, as used in centrifugal separators, arranged in the dome or upper part of the evaporator a. The purified steam leaves the evaporator through a channel l and pipe m.
