[Class 55 (ii)] In rotary apparatus comprising a rotor consisting of a spirally coiled sheet 54 wound on a core 50 and mounted with its lower part immersed in a liquid and its upper part in a stream of air as described in Specification 518,882, the spacing projections 56 on the sheet are formed along perforations 55 and the sheet is wound on the core under tension.
